The Truth and Justice Foundation, an internationally focused human rights organization providing resources for vulnerable citizens throughout the world, is partnering with Bread & Hope to fund a groundbreaking new pilot program addressing legal needs of homeless and vulnerable populations in our nation's capital.
"We couldn't be more thrilled with the partnership," said Mary Isabel Catherine O'Brien, Program Director for the Truth and Justice Foundation. "Bread & Hope is a shining light in our nation's capital and this opportunity to pilot a cutting edge approach to addressing issues of injustice affecting vulnerable populations is something the Foundation is tremendously excited about."
Funding for the program will begin in 2011 and extend through the end of 2013. Rigorous evaluation methods are being put into place to assess the overall success. Additional details of the partnership will be released after the first of the year.
